Kaede
The name of the school building “Kaede” means “maple tree” in Japanese signifying that a maple tree has a fruit with two seeds closely connected with a “wing” extending from each seed.The name expresses our wish to nurture human relationships that grow out of friendly competition.

Asunaro
As part of Reitaku University’s 50th anniversary celebration in April 2011, Asunaro was constructed with the concept of “a campus in harmony with the forest” in mind. The concept was highly regarded, winning the 2012 “Good Design Award” in Japan.

The Lifelong Learning Plaza
This complex was completed in February 2006 and houses the Graduate School, Research Center, Education Information Center, and the Reitaku Open College. The building is designed to promote education, research activities, and contributions to society as a response a future demand for lifelong learning.

The Library
Our library has both a concert hall and CALL (computer-assisted language learning) classrooms which are available from 9:00 PM to 6:45 PM when classes are in session. The library uses an open stack system and most materials, except for rare books, can be accessed freely.
*The library is open Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 4:45 PM when classes are not in session.
