Student LifePBL (Problem-Based Learning)
<Project Based Learning>
Learn from society and give back what you learn to society.
Acquire practical skills through a variety of PBL activities.
Reitaku University provides students with ample opportunities to go off campus and directly interact with society and the world, as a place to put their moral education learning into practice. All faculties offer off-campus PBL from the first year. There are classes and seminars in collaboration with local communities and companies, extracurricular activities handed down by student volunteers, and even volunteer work. There are plenty of opportunities to learn from the real world and give back to society.
Self-planned seminar
The aim is to "provide an opportunity for ambitious students who want to learn more without being bound by existing frameworks, as well as for students who want to independently propose their own learning plans and learning contents." Based on the topic they want to study, students choose a professor to supervise them, decide what and how they will study with the advice of that professor, make a learning plan, and proceed according to that plan. It is a groundbreaking student-led seminar not seen at other universities.

In order to learn about different cultures and think comprehensively about the society that surrounds us, we invite people who are active locally, nationally, and internationally to take on the role of "books," and through dialogue with them, we gain new insights into ourselves and hints for life.
