Job Hunting Support Features
◆ Support system that focuses on the individual
Individual interviews Career interviews for all 3rd year students
At Reitaku University we conduct individual interviews regarding career paths and employment from the early years, listening carefully to what each student has to say and giving advice tailored to each student's circumstances and background. Each student has a different personality and career aspirations, and even if two students have the same career aspirations, each has a different background. We value these differences and interview with the intention of supporting each student's life.
Supporting you in every way possible to deal with your job-hunting anxieties
It is natural to feel anxious or unsure about your first job search. In order to provide optimal support and suggestions for each student, we not only consult directly in individual interviews, but also constantly check in on each student's situation via phone, email, and social media, and stay with them until they reach their goal.
Promoting company visits
At our school, we consider company visits and student interviews to be the two wheels of job-hunting support, and so visiting companies is essential. By visiting companies directly, we can convey the merits of students to companies and vice versa, leading to the best possible match.
◆ Support using online services
Online Career Center
As a countermeasure against COVID-19, we have recreated the Career Center online. Just like when you visit the university, you can talk to the receptionist and meet with staff. If you visit someone's desk, an online video call will begin. We have also recreated the layout of tables and chairs so that participants can freely interact with each other, allowing you to interact with the Career Center in a more realistic way, even while online.

Utilizing LINE distribution
We use LINE, the most familiar tool for students, to announce events held by the Career Center and provide information related to job hunting.

Other support
Industry/Company Seminars
We invite lecturers from leading companies in each industry to teach about the characteristics of the industry and working style, etc. This will broaden the horizons and possibilities of career choices.
<Examples of participating companies> Iris Ohyama Co., Ltd. / Alfresa Corporation / Kaga Electronics Co., Ltd. / Kokubu Group Co., Ltd. / JTB Corporation / Shimizu Corporation / Shueisha Co., Ltd. / Mitsubishi UFJ Morgan Stanley Securities Co., Ltd. / etc.
On-campus joint corporate seminar
Career Center staff carefully selected about 130 companies that they felt they wanted to introduce to students. This valuable opportunity to meet local, high-quality companies with a proven track record of hiring and companies with few employees is set up in June (internship period), October to November (when early selection begins), and February (when job hunting begins).
Civil Service Program
In partnership with LEC Legal Mind, we offer preparation courses on campus. We have programs for all civil service exams. We also provide group discussion and interview preparation, and students can earn course credits. Even though this is an all-in-one program, the cost is very reasonable and it is a very cost-effective program.
Internship Support
With job hunting getting earlier every year, it is essential that students start participating in internships from their early years. We have created a system that allows students to start their job hunting activities early by holding guidance sessions and on-campus joint information sessions that students can participate in from their early years, and by making internship participation a class assignment.
WEB test (SPI) preparation support
This is a "preparation course for Reitaku University students" by a popular SPI preparation YouTuber. Although many students are not good at math, the average deviation score has increased by 12 points after taking the course, which is an amazing result.
Job Hunting Supporter
Fourth-year students who have just received job offers will share their real experiences and advice from the perspective of fellow students to third-year students who have just started job hunting. The advice from seniors who were also "job-hunting students" just a few months ago is realistic and persuasive. One of the things we are proud of about our job hunting support is the environment where students can hear from "seniors" who are close to them.
