Flow of the four years

First year
Start by building a solid foundation in business management and cultivating the perspectives needed in the real world of business.
In [Introduction to Business Management A/B], you will get an overall picture of business management, and through [Business Design Theory], you will learn business ideas and design/art thinking. In [Basic Seminar B], you will actually discuss in small groups and deepen your understanding of basic knowledge of business management and real-life corporate management.

Second Year
Deepening business management and practical application
Students will learn about [Marketing], [Strategic Design], and [Management Organization Theory] to deepen their core knowledge of business administration. In [Business Design Workshop A/B], they will apply the knowledge they have learned to the creation of an actual business plan. They will understand design methods for discovering and solving management issues, and develop the ability to link real-world corporate management with basic knowledge of business administration.

Third Year
"Practice" and "Innovation"
In the third year, students will study Brand Marketing, Advertising Theory, and Global Strategy to predict market trends, and create new business models in the Business Innovation Project. This is a year of practice and innovation in which students will hone their ability to design businesses that have new social value by utilizing design methods to address real-world management issues.

Fourth Year
Bringing together the knowledge and skills you have learned, you will grow into a "professional"
In the fourth year, students will establish expertise in consumer behavior, digital marketing, organizational development, and strategic management. They will incorporate the use of big data and the evolution of digital technology into business strategies and develop the ability to respond to modern business challenges. They will give back to society what they have learned, demonstrating their ability to create 1 from 0 and grow it to 100.

Marketing is the study of strategies and methods for delivering products and services to customers appropriately. The advertisements you see and promotions on social media are also part of marketing. You create the most convenient products and services for customers, and think about and implement the activities required to make them aware of your products and services.

Consumer Behavior

"Why did that person buy that product?" Consumer behavior theory is an academic field born from such everyday questions. When we go shopping, how do we find out about products and what attracts us? You can enjoy the fun of being a detective investigating the reasons and background behind such mysterious choices of people. You may be one step closer to becoming a professional at interpreting the movements of people's minds.

Why did you choose this major?
I have been interested in marketing since I was in high school, so I chose to Business Design. The appeal of this major is that I can put the knowledge I learn in the classroom into practice. I actually had the opportunity to give presentations in front of people from companies from my first year, which helped me develop my planning skills and ability to take action. I was able to interact with a variety of people through projects, and I feel that I am growing as a person. I believe that by choosing this major, I will be able to approach my job search with confidence, and I am enjoying a fulfilling university life.
What are you particularly focusing on learning?
I am focusing on gaining more experience than others. I am actively participating in projects to put the knowledge I have learned in the classroom into practice and to grow as a person. I would like to absorb a lot of knowledge and skills through various experiences and hone my strengths in preparation for job hunting.
