Student Counseling Room

The Student Counseling Center is an institution that will support you in adapting to university life and helping you grow mentally.
You can talk to a professional counselor about any issues you may have in your student life. Please feel free to contact us without having to bear your worries or problems on your own.
In addition to providing counseling by experts, we also provide a place of relaxation and opportunities for interaction, as well as educational activities such as seminars and workshops. We also provide support for students with physical or mental illnesses or disabilities.

Important notice

Counselling is conducted face-to-face in an interview room, as well as remotely via telephone or video call depending on the situation. If you would like to have a consultation, please first contact us via the counselling application form, telephone or email.

If you have cold symptoms (cough, runny nose, fatigue, fever, etc.), please refrain from coming to the office. We can also switch to remote consultations (by phone or video call). In the case of influenza or COVID-19, it is no longer just one person's problem, so we ask for your cooperation.

About Counseling

A licensed counselor or psychiatrist will listen to what you have to say. The reason you came to consult or the contents of your talk will not be shared with anyone else without your permission. (※) You can also use the service anonymously.
(※Exceptions will be made when it is determined that there is a serious physical or mental danger to yourself or others, or when there is a legal request.)

Other Activities

Heart Rest Room

We provide a room in the counseling room as a place of relaxation. There is a corner where you can relax in a group and a corner where you can relax alone.
There are books, manga, and games available. I recommend this place for people who want to think quietly, for people who want a place to relax, for people who get tired easily from socializing, and for people who don't like crowded places.
Please follow the rules of use.

Events and group work

This is a place for students to interact with each other, counselors, and faculty and staff. We plan seasonal events (Tanabata, Christmas parties, calligraphy, etc.) and group work.
Please feel free to join us.
Event details will be announced on our website.

Seminars and Workshops

We hold workshops and seminars on self-discovery, communication, relaxation, etc. We also respond to requests from students. Please let us know if there is anything you would like to know or are interested in.
Event details will be announced on our website.

Book lending

There are books that will be useful for student life, books that will help you choose your career path, books that will teach you about the mind, books that will help you understand mental illness, tasteful novels, and heartwarming picture books.
