【開催報告】国際学部主催「留学生交流会」

　2026年1月9日（金）、国際学部では、専攻選択を控えた留学生を対象に、日本人学生との交流を通じて学びと学生生活への理解を深める「留学生交流会」を開催しました。当日は、日本人学生約20名、留学生約30名、合計約50名が参加しました。

　本学部の留学生は、1年次は全員「国際学科」として学び、2年次から「日本学・国際コミュニケーション（JIC）専攻」「国際交流・国際協力（IEC）専攻」「国際社会・国際情報（ISI）専攻」の3専攻の中から希望する専攻を選択し、日本人学生と共に専門的な学びを深めていきます。本交流会は、専攻選択を控えた留学生が、各専攻の学びやキャンパスライフへの理解を深めることを目的に実施されました。

　当日は、まず日本人学生が各専攻の特徴や授業内容、課外活動などについて実体験を交えながら紹介し、教室内外をつなぐ国際学部の実践的な学びの特色が伝えられました。

　続いて行われた交流会では、ピザや和菓子を囲みながら小グループに分かれて交流が行われ、留学生は日本人学生との対話を通して、学修内容や学生生活について具体的なイメージを持つことができました。「好きな授業は？」「どのような課外活動を行っているのか」「難しかった課題は何か」など、進路選択の参考となる質問が多く寄せられ、和やかな雰囲気の中で交流が深まりました。

　また、交流プログラムの一環として、杵と臼を使用した餅つきのデモンストレーションを行い、日本文化への理解を深める機会となりました。

　参加した留学生にとって、日本人学生から直接、各専攻のポイントや学びの実情を聞く貴重な機会となり、今後の専攻選択に向けた具体的なイメージ形成につながりました。交流会は終始大きな盛り上がりを見せ、参加者同士の新たなつながりを生みながら、盛況のうちに終了しました。

【English】International Student Exchange Event Hosted by the Faculty of Global Studies

　On Friday, January 9, 2026, the Faculty of Global Studies held an International Student Exchange Event for international students who will soon choose their academic major.
About 50 students participated, including around 20 Japanese students and 30 international students.

　During the event, Japanese students introduced the key aspects of each major, including course content and extracurricular activities, based on their own experiences. These presentations helped international students gain a clearer understanding of thefaculty's academic programs and learning environment.

　This was followed by small-group discussions, where students spoke freely while enjoying pizza and traditional Japanese sweets. Through direct conversations with Japanese students, international participants developed a better idea of academic life and daily student activities, and many practical questions were shared.

　The program also included a traditional rice-cake-pounding (mochi-making) demonstration, giving students an opportunity to experience Japanese culture.

　The event provided international students with valuable insights into each major and student life, supporting them as they prepare to make their major selection.The event concluded successfully, fostering new connections among participants.
