週刊東洋経済・臨時増刊号の「本当に強い大学2020」において、本学は、国公私立576大学中総合ランク53位（私立大学31位、千葉県内4位、千葉県内私立大学3位）にランクインしました。２年前の「本当に強い大学2018」の総合ランクが73位（私立大学51位、千葉県内４位、千葉県私立大学3位）でしたので、20位アップとなりました。

このランキングは、全国約800大学のうち、国公私立576大学を対象とし、4つの指標「教育・研究力」、「就職力」、「財務力」、「国際力」で算出し、上位300校までを掲載しています。

また、2019年卒学部系統別就職率ランキングでは、「国際・外国語・教育系」学部において、14位（外国語学部4位）にランクインしました。

このような評価に恥じないように、今後も、「知徳一体」の理念に基づき、グローバルな社会を生き抜く、実際に役に立つ力を備えた人材を育てるために、“小規模にこだわる、国際性にこだわる”麗澤大学として、世界と地域から期待される本当に強い大学となるよう邁進いたします。

In a special edition of the weekly Toyo Keizai ("Really Strong Universities 2020"), our university was ranked 53rd overall out of 576 national, public, and private universities (31st private university, 4th in Chiba prefecture, 3rd in private universities in Chiba prefecture), an increase of 20 places since two years ago; our overall rank in "Really Strong Universities 2018" was 73rd (51st private university, 4th in Chiba prefecture, 3rd in private universities in Chiba prefecture).

This ranking covers 576 national, public and private universities out of about 800 universities nationwide, and is calculated by four indicators "education and research capabilities", "employment capabilities", "financial capabilities", and "international capabilities", and the top 300 universities are listed.

Also, in the 2019 undergraduate job placement ranking by academic discipline, our Faculty of Foreign Studies has been ranked 14th in the International, Foreign Language and Education category.

To live up to this assessment, we will continue to strive to be a “really strong university” that can meet both global and regional expectations.
