To All Students -Change of Class Format due to a State of Emergency Declared for Regions Including Chiba Prefecture-

On August 2, a state of emergency is expected to be declared for Chiba Prefecture following Tokyo due to the spread of the Covid-19 infection.

The following are the measures to be taken during the period of the "Declaration of the state of emergency" (August 2 to August 31).

    1. Summer Events and Activities

      ■Intensive lectures, special courses, etc.

       ⇒ As scheduled
      If there is any change in the class format, the person in charge of the class will inform you via "Reitaku Portal."

    2. Extracurricular Activities (Club Activities, Circle Activities)

      ■Continuation of the ban on extracurricular activities

      ⇒ Continuation of the restrictions in July, and the lock on the club building will remain in place all day.

      ■Student cafeteria, "Hiiragi"

       ⇒ The cafeteria will be locked all day from August 4 (Wed.) to September 19 (Sun.) due to the summer vacation.

    3. Dormitory

       ■Change of curfew

        ⇒ The curfew will be 8:00 p.m. (currently 9:00 p.m.)

    If the applicable period is extended in the future, it will be in accordance with the government's decision.In addition, the system for the second semester will be announced around the end of August.

    Finally, I would like to make a request to you all.
    Although we will be soon entering the summer vacation period, we must strictly avoid the outbreak of mass infection (clusters) due to drinking and eating in groups. Please continue to refrain from traveling and having meals with large groups. Please refrain from such activities not only to protect your own life and health, but also to protect the life and health of your family and friends.
