休日の過ごし方や趣味を教えてください。: I would either stay at home all day and just relax or I would head to Akihabara and do some window shopping. At home, I would just watch videos, play games, chat online with my family and friends. Sometimes I would be writing or co-writing papers with my fellow researchers of games in education from the Ludic Language Pedagogy teacher’s society. I am also a highly proficient model and figure collector appraiser.

１週間の休みと100万円が自由に使えたら、どこで、何をしますか？: I would most likely just stay at home anyways and put the money into an S&P 500 index fund. Long-term investment is something I have always wanted to do but never had the finances to do so, coming from a country with a comparatively weaker currency.

過去の1日で、「もう1度やり直せる日」があるとしたら、それはいつで、どうしたいですか？: I have made a lot of mistakes in my life and paid the price for it. I am still paying for some of it till this day. However, I would not trade away a single second of it. I am what I am because of what I was.

大学4年間で「学生に訪れてほしい場所」はどこですか？その理由も教えて下さい。: I would highly recommend going for a trip to Singapore or Malaysia to my Japanese students. As highly praised Japanese cuisine is internationally, I find that Japanese undergraduates tend to be inexperienced in terms of international cuisine types and genres. Therefore, a melting pot country like Singapore and Malaysia would be a perfect place somewhat close to home that would allow them a full sampling of authentic cuisine types instead of the localized Japanese versions.

大学4年間で「学生に読んでほしい本」は何ですか？その理由も教えて下さい。: Books were, and are, an excellent conduit for knowledge and lessons. However, I posit that not all knowledge need come from books, nor all lessons from written tomes. Therefore, I would instead recommend a video game to my students instead. Final Fantasy 14 is an online game which I think would be beneficial to students in several ways: practicing conversational interactions with other players, engaging in teamwork, and understanding that not all stories need come from books. Sometimes, the deepest of stories and the most enthralling of tales can come from the seemingly unassuming places.
