休日の過ごし方や趣味を教えてください。: I try to leave my house and go into town to have a coffee and see some events around town or go to the movies. I also love live music, driving, cycling and camping.

大学4年間で「学生に訪れてほしい場所」はどこですか？その理由も教えてください。: In Japan I would recommend driving and camping around the Tohoku area, especially the north area of Aomori. Internationally I would recommend Turkey and Mexico as interesting and fun places to travel around. The food is also great.

大学4年間で「学生に読んでほしい本」は何ですか？その理由も教えてください。: A book called Got2go By Lea Rieck. She is a German Youtuber who rides a motorbike around the world with another rider she meets in each place. Her book is interesting and shows that there is more to life than sitting at home and wasting your time doing meaningless things.

専門分野に興味を持ったきっかけは何ですか？: The reason I became a teacher was to enjoy meeting people from various backgrounds who have different interests. If I can help people to learn English so that they can get some benefit from using English and to improve their life, then that makes me happy to continue teaching.

専門の研究は社会にどう活かされていますか？: I think it is easy for a teacher to get distracted when they teach. Sometimes a teacher’s perspective can focus too much on themselves and their teaching rather than their students. I like to focus on how to stay focused as an educator and to be able to choose what is important for yourself and your students.
