- I’ve always had a soft spot for ‘The Hobbit’ or ‘The Lord of the Rings’ books, as they were originally written as a bedtime story for the author’s children. Similarly, for a less intensive read, the Winnie the Pooh books were also written for the same reason, a bedtime story.
